Summer Worship Schedule
Beginning May 19th, One Service Only
10am, Sanctuary
We will be returning to one worship worship each Sunday for the summer months! Starting May 19th, which is the day of Pentecost, there will be one combined service each week at 10 a.m. This change will coincide with the kick-off of our capital campaign, Widening Our Welcome. The service will be a bit of a blend between our two service styles and will include some of the best elements of both. Starting May 26th, instead of Children’s Worship & Wonder, our exciting worship ministry for children, we will have Sunday School in the education wing for children from K - 5th grade during the worship service!
Congregational Meeting
Sunday, June 30, 10am
Sanctuary
The congregation will vote on a new slate of officers, elders and deacons for the coming year. We hope to see you there! If you cannot attend the meeting, please send in your absentee ballot by June 27th. Letters will go out the week of June 10th with an absentee ballot included. They will also be available in the church office. (Note: this is a change from the originally scheduled meeting!)

:: a special message |
 |
We understand that some in California don't believe that God's love is big enough to welcome gays and lesbians. But we believe it is. We believe that God does love everyone, and that's why we welcome everyone, regardless of ethnic or racial heritage, gender, ability, sexual orientation, or economic or political status.
We had hoped Proposition 8 would have been defeated and we applaud its now having been overturned by a federal court. We hope that California will continue to support the marriages of committed people in loving relationships.
But regardless of the legal status of Proposition 8 as it winds its way through the legal system, we will continue to perform gay and lesbian weddings in our sanctuary because we believe that all marriages are sacred in the eyes of God.
