Stewardship happens in many ways. One VERY EASY way for you to contribute to First Christian Church is by signing up for Escrip. Some have said, "Well, I already am signed up!" But what you may not realize is that you must "renew" your Safeway Card registration with Escrip every November 1. The good news is, it is not too late!!
There are four easy ways to choose from:
go online to www.escrip.com to update your account information, renew your Safeway Club Card number, and to add/change any other Macy's, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express or ATM cards you may want to register. Call Escrip at 1-800-254-5404 to provide your Safeway Card number (and any other cards if you so choose) over the phone. If you don't remember your Safeway Club Card number, you can call Safeway at 1-877-SAFEWAY to obtain the number. Then you must call Escrip also. Mail in a Registration Form to Escrip, P.O. Box 6988, Auburn, CA 95604. Forms are available on the website or from Lori Landberg. Look for the Escrip Registration Table to be in the Narthex after services now through the end of the year. You can list your name, address, phone, and Safeway Club Card number only (NOT any other credit or ATM cards for obvious security reasons) on the POWER REGISTRATION LOG. Our Escrip Coordinator will register your Safeway information for you!
It is that easy. This is a GREAT way to contribute dollars to First Christian Church by merely purchasing goods you would already be buying! There is no extra money from your pocket.
For those who are unfamiliar with Escrip, merchants such as Safeway, Macys, and many, many others donate a percentage of what you purchase from them back to the charitable organization of your choice.

In the first 10 months of 2006, FCC has earned almost $1,800 from Escrip. The more people who sign up, the more we will earn. Even small contributions can add up to significant amounts when we are all involved!
