On the church calendar, Palm Sunday falls on March 29 this year, but for the House and Grounds Committee, our “Palm Saturday Work Morning ’ will fall on March 21. This will be the day that we prep the campus for Easter. This preparation will involve pruning, trimming, weed pulling, window washing, sweeping, just to name a few of the tasks to be accomplished. The work to be done around the Sanctuary and the Chapel has a time constraint placed on it. Namely this work needs to be completed by 9:15, so as not to interfere with the Saturday services of the Spanish Seventh Day Adventist congregation. To make this happen, House and Grounds will need several people, who are willing to get their ‘Palms Dirty ’, in a concerted effort to get our church home looking good for Easter and the coming of spring. The workday will begin at 8 am, with refreshments served in the Youth Building.
