Adult Faith Formation
At FCC Concord we see faith as a journey, not a point of arrival. Thus you will often hear us make reference to "faith formation" rather than "education."
To that end we offer a variety of programs, events and classes to enrich the participant's faith development through increasing knowledge of the Biblical story and deepening experience of how that story calls us to lives of faithfulness.
We hope you will share your faith journey with us. You and your family, from the youngest to the oldest, are invited to learn and grow together.
We offer engaging Faith Formation opportunities each Saturday at 9:00 a.m., each Sunday at 8:45 a.m., and first and third Fridays at 7 p.m. Our programs, events and classes provide insight into the Biblical story and help us experience how that story calls us to lives of faithfulness.
Adults may participate in offerings that range from creative approaches to Bible Study to timely topical and issue-oriented forums. Children and young people have a number of opportunities to learn and grow as well.
All sessions are facilitated by our minister-in-training, Audrey Barton and are listed below. Please contact Audrey or the church office for the zoom link to join the Sunday morning and Monday evening sessions.
Saturdays at 9:00 a.m.: Prayer and Meditation Practices, church office
Sundays at 8:45 a.m.: Bible Study, the Plambeck Room and online
First and third Fridays at 7 p.m.: Spiritual / Theological Discussion Group, Fellowship Hall.
