All Church Clean Up!

church+workday.jpg

Please join us for the ‘All Hands Church Work Day’!

The numerous maintenance and repair tasks needed to keep the FCC Campus in good working order, cannot be accomplished by limited number of people on the House and Grounds Committee. Therefore, we are appealing to the members and friends of the FCC to join with the House and Grounds Committee on Saturday, October 17, 2020, from 8:00 AM until Noon, as we work to maintain our Church Home.

Even though our campus is closed for Worship services, many other functions are ongoing. The Montessori School and Share are open to serve the community, as is the Church Office. The Hispanic AA Group has resumed in person meetings with Covid Protections. At the same time, the weeds continue to grow, trees need to be trimmed, ruts in the parking lot need to be filled, as well as painting caulking repairs, to name a few. Your help to work on these many tasks would be greatly appreciated.

Steps will be in place to insure Covid -19 Protocols for cleaning tools and other items with disinfectant wipes, masks, social distancing while working etc. Gloves will be available, as will hand sanitizer. Individual bottles of water will also be furnished.

If you can’t make it on October 17, 2020, please consider joining the pre-party on Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 8:00 AM to Noon.

Can’t make either date or you have health concerns about working around others during the pandemic, but still want to help? Arrangements can be made for a task you can do individually on a day of your choosing.

In order to help plan the task lists for both days and solo assignments, please contact Bill Bush (via the church office) to let him know that you will be participating.

This is an important and necessary event to help keep our Church Home in good working condition. We hope to see you on one or both days.
