Throughout August Jacob helped us to reflect on, and move more deeply into, the beautiful foundational dynamics of our faith. Doing so may lead us to recognize that people often encounter barriers to accepting or fully experiencing the gifts of God such as grace, love, restoration, closeness with God or living our purpose. We may face such challenges ourselves or observe them in those we know who have not yet come into a life with God.

Our September series continues this Sunday by looking at how being saved by grace through faith may seem confusing or challenging, because of issues related to the Ego (whether wounded or prideful, and to our dependence on the Will and our own striving to save ourselves. Come for a time of reflecting on what true freedom and self-contentment are about.Based on selections from Ephesians
