Rev. Dr. Russ Peterman, Senior Minister
Our senior minister is one of our own native sons. Russ Peterman grew up in this congregation and was active in its ministry, participating in many of its annual Mexico Mission trips before going off to college at Texas Christian University (B.A. 1990). He was ordained in this church in January 1995.
Dr. Peterman also holds degrees from San Francisco Theological Seminary (M.Div. 1995) and received his Doctor of Ministry (2004) from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. Prior to coming home to FCC in 2005, Russ served congregations in Dallas, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia.
A highly sought-after preacher and speaker, Russ loves talking with people about the heart-waking, soul-changing God who is capable of turning their lives inside out and the world upside down!
In his spare time Russ enjoys time with his wife Kelli and their 4 children, reading, playing golf, yoga, traveling in the wine country, doing triathlons, and following TCU sports. He recently completed his first Ironman in Whistler, Canada with Athletes for a Cure, raising funds and awareness in the fight against prostate cancer.
