Matthew 22: 15-22

Rev. Dr. Leslie Taylor, preaching

These three texts create a compelling progression around authority, value, and allegiance — moving us from an internal spiritual posture to an external engagement with the community and the world. I want to invite you to read the scriptures and think about how they speak to you with these broad themes in mind:

Week 1 (1 Cor 2): How we think — Expanding beyond human limitations to claim the Mind of Christ.

Week 2 (2 Cor 4): How we live — Embracing our fragile humanity as a holy vessel for God’s transformative light.

Week 3 (Matt 22): How we give/belong — Reclaiming our ultimate identity, anchoring our lives in the God who makes us whole.

This week, based on Matthew 22:15-22
